    Enjoyable article! “Even when his views are completely wrong, he gets the psychological benefit of emotionally appealing political beliefs at a bargain price. No wonder he buys in bulk.”

    But. I really cannot accept his Hamiltonian solutions. A panel of economists to strike down a law for being “uneconomic’?” Paul Krugman and JK Galbraith?

    I like the Hayekian-Suroweckian wisdom of crowds. I wish we would actually remove constitutionally protected freedoms from the legislative purview, but going beyond that to be governed by our betters doesn’t grab me.
